Upon the convergence of all these “separate” genres, we find ourselves in very exciting and innovative place. What separates YAYAYA from many other electronic albums is its morphing state of forms and how that alteration paces from track to track. The technical and simplistic aspects of songwriting join as one over the course of the LP. From the bounce of a 4/4 rhythm to a wild run of exploding drums and carnivorous synth layering, YAYAYA has many sides and personalities. Tools of creation include the Sub Phatty, Roland 303, Microkorg, samplers, soft synths, and guitar pedals, giving them unique flavor combinations.

After the group sent Daedelus a cache of demos last year, they all meet up in the London to discuss a potential bridge for releasing their music. Kinship formed shortly after, planting the seeds for this year's YAYAYA LP and many more albums to follow. As the group describes, "We meet Daedelus on his Europe tour in London. While he was out here, we visited an exhibition together that displayed the history of recording sound. This is where we felt a genuine click with Daedelus and realized it was all coming together for us."
